Continuous books and saved positions
Both Image of God editions use continuous reading. Original-page display mode is removed while saved annotations and internal positions are retained.
Use a sentence within the same source text entry for bookmarks, notes and highlights, then recall its verified position from Saved. Older bookmarks are retained. Instructions and scope.
Home and the resource menu
Memory-verse cards use their original publication date for recent-item indicators. Long events show up to three lines; selecting one opens its URL.
Supported category images prefer cached lightweight thumbnails. Home instructions.

Exact semantic sentence-by-sentence bilingual mapping, sentences across physical pages and the intermittent text-size symptom remain under investigation.

Three upload choices and one URL field
The upload screen offers Choose from Photos, Choose Files, and Upload from URL. The shared URL input keeps a visible URL label.
The same field accepts supported cloud-share links and public single-video Instagram links: /reel/, /reels/, /p/, and account-prefixed video links. Review candidates before importing. YouTube adds a playback card without downloading the original video. Upload instructions.
Yellow crosses for recent Home items
A yellow cross on the left marks an item whose own date is within the last 7 days. Unknown, invalid, and future dates have no yellow cross. Existing display windows, latest-item fallbacks, counts, and order stay the same; an older latest item remains visible without a yellow cross. Home instructions.
Video viewing and original-file uploads
On iPhone, fullscreen landscape video keeps its position when the top control bar hides automatically or is shown again.
A server-side correction fixes uploads of original files selected on Mac and also applies to existing compatible app versions.
Version 1.32 (build 286) is available in the Japan and U.S. App Stores. Apple’s public release date is October 24, 2026.

Successful sign-in from Home, Settings → Account, or Bible AI opens User Setup immediately.
Review and save your branches, then tap Done to return to the screen you came from. Signing in within User Setup returns to that same setup screen.
Failed sign-in and opening the app with a saved session do not open a new setup screen. Instructions after sign-in.
Consistent and corrected furigana
Japanese furigana in In the Image of God now uses the same corrected readings on iPhone and Android.
Context-sensitive readings of 訳 and 方 have been reviewed, including 良い訳 as よいやく. The text, notes, bookmarks and highlights are retained.
Public preface
The public preface uses the same furigana as the book, with matching content on both platforms.
Choose the separate In the Image of God — English version in the reader’s book list. An existing Japanese-book activation on this device also authorizes the English edition at no additional charge.
Show or hide Japanese furigana while keeping the original text for copying and searching. Notes, bookmarks and highlights remain separate for each edition.
Read Japanese and English side by side or top and bottom. Optional Link Japanese/English pages follows the same original page; it starts off so each pane can keep its own position.
Download each edition’s purchaser PDF from its beginning. Both languages retain the same original Japanese front and back cover artwork.
Added in build 280: visible book download progress
During activation or a book update, see the book title, actual received size, and percentage with a progress bar when the total size is known. Multiple downloads show the current book number and total. Unknown totals show an activity indicator and received size instead of a guessed percentage.
Lighter Japanese furigana rendering improves scrolling while preserving the original text and reading positions.
Reading position and controls
Text-size changes preserve the reading position and selection. Continuous scrolling, linked Bible passage following and starting narration at the visible position are improved.
When sign-in or branch setup is incomplete, Home shows “Log In” immediately to the left of the Davar icon. Tap it to open the password sign-in screen.
After signing in, choose and save at least one branch in Settings → User Setup. The Home button disappears when both steps are complete and returns after sign-out. Home sign-in instructions.
Open the order from its announcement
Tap an order in Home Announcements to open that order’s form after sign-in and a successful refresh of its availability.
Saving an administrator order edit refreshes Home Announcements and the notice list with the current order text.
Order announcements containing a contact email still open the intended order. Unavailable orders show a message; after a connection failure, pull down on Orders to retry. Instructions.
Read and compose complete announcements
Tap an ordinary Home announcement to read its full message. Choose its email or HTTPS link action separately; order announcements keep their direct order action.
Compose announcements without a message character limit. The optional URL field keeps its label visible, shows an HTTPS example, and accepts website or map links from any domain.
A confirmed input-validation rejection keeps the content and audience editable. If a send result is uncertain, check Sent announcements before choosing “Keep draft and edit”; returning to edit cannot cancel a notice that may already be published. Instructions.
Copy complete dictionary entries
Choose “Copy all (including definition)” from the long-press menu in original-word details, dictionary search, or Original Words. It copies the original word, Strong’s number, transliteration, pronunciation, part of speech, and full definition together.
Individual copy actions for the number, original word, and transliteration remain available. Instructions.
Added in build 277: notice schedules and sent-content editing
Choose publication/Push start and publication end in Los Angeles time. Scheduled work uses the existing roughly five-minute runner; active notices offer end changes and immediate finish.
Edit subject, message, images or URL only for new notices sent from the same device in a supporting version. Saving does not resend Push. Schedules, editing and this-device-only tests.

Paste images between text in announcements, bilingual order guidance and each product. Drafts and exact uncertain-result retries are retained.
Readers load generated thumbnails and fetch the saved original only when tapped, then zoom it. Originals preserve pixel dimensions/orientation while removing source metadata. Order image instructions.

Open an event’s official page from Upcoming Events, sourced from the official calendar. Long announcement and order headings wrap in full.

Video loading and retry are improved, including startup for an original over 1 GB. Preparing an original for download or sharing now shows a percentage and a cancel control. Sharing a YouTube card sends its watch URL.
On iPhone and iPad, the album actions at the bottom of the viewer hide in landscape, and the YouTube picture fits the viewer without the large lower gap. Rotate back to portrait to use the album actions. Viewer instructions.
Image of God reading

Home images and cache
Recent newsletters, Verse Cards, narrated sermon summaries, and illustrated posts use smaller previews prepared by the server. Portrait images fill the preview width from the top; the original images are unchanged. Display and refresh instructions.
Home sections show saved content first and apply new updates when available. Saved content remains usable if a refresh fails, and you can pull down to refresh manually. The approved publication windows, counts, and ordering have not changed.
Verse Card Gallery
The View Gallery button now responds immediately from a card detail. A loading state appears while needed, and the gallery receives already-loaded cards to reduce the brief empty view. How to use the gallery.

Home's latest lists show a scaled image for Verse Cards. When a text-free source image is unavailable, the complete card image is used.
Newsletters use a supplied first-page preview, spoken sermon summaries use a video still, and illustrated blog posts use their published images. Missing or failed images fall back to the existing icon. How thumbnails work.
Portrait newsletter pages and Verse Cards use a taller thumbnail frame matched to the image ratio, so the full page or card appears larger without cropping.
Display Reliability
If an image is absent or fails to load, the latest item remains visible with its existing icon.

Verse Card Slideshow
The slideshow appears at the top of Memory Verse → Verse Card Gallery. It combines recent cards with cards from the branches and advances through cached images about every three seconds. Swipe the slide to move between cards; tap it to pause or resume.

Bible and Purchased Book

Branch-aware Announcements and Orders
Choose All members or one or more branches for each order and announcement. The list shows its audience, highlights notices for all members or your branches, and places dimmed notices for other branches below them.
Settings keeps a default order-notification audience while each order can override it. Pasadena remains a fixed Headquarters choice even though it is not a Blogger branch.
Closing order acceptance now confirms completion with an alert after the server accepts the change.
Home and Update Details
Verse Cards and branch-blog rows show their Blogger tags. Verse Card deletion now appears inside the authorized editor.
Social updates show the newest item from each configured YouTube source plus available items from the previous month. Website, Verse Card, branch-blog, and Store publication windows keep Home focused on current information.
Daily update notices preserve exact titles and one-tap links for changed pages, videos, Verse Cards, and Store products while Push text remains a short count summary.
Image of God Reading
Improved long continuous scrolling and position tracking across printed-page boundaries.

Preview, Purchase, and Six-Digit Activation
Before purchase, Image of God now shows its title, original cover, and full table of contents. A button above the cover opens its Davar Store product page.
After purchase, tap Enter activation key directly below the purchase button, enter the issued six-digit key, then activate and download without signing in to the app.
Direct activation opens the first readable section; activation from a locked contents item opens the selected section. The activated text is saved on the device for offline reading.
Reader and Study Tools
On a new installation the Bible reader starts in a spacious one-pane Japanese layout. A user's selected one-, two-, or three-pane layout remains saved after relaunch.
Image of God switches between optimized Continuous view and Original page view. Swipe left or right through original pages, or use two panes to keep Scripture beside the book.
Use full-text search, linked contents navigation, bookmarks, notes, highlights, text selection, and text-to-speech with the same controls used for Scripture.
Narration, Links, and Stability
Long-form narration starts at the open page and continues page by page to the end. It supports background playback, Lock Screen and Control Center commands, and Bluetooth/AirPlay routing.
Improved recovery from the saved reading position after navigation audio from a maps app interrupts narration.
Push notifications sent from Order Settings and order-related church announcements can now open the native Orders screen directly.
Fixed a presentation crash when opening Bible screens and sheets in the iPad app running on Mac.
Review an Order Before Submission
The member journey now proceeds through name, email, items, quantities and comment; a complete review; Submit order; then confirmation through the checkmark on the open order and its History entry.
Order saving and confirmation-email delivery are shown as separate states, so a missing email does not hide whether the order was saved. Six-digit email verification is not used for normal ordering; it is reserved for restoring history on another device.
New administrator order settings explain the sequence Content, Supplier, Schedule, and Save, followed by opening the saved draft to start acceptance, publish an announcement, or send Push. Tag-like action clusters were replaced by a grouped detail screen.
Clearer Photo/Video Contribution and Input Fields
The upload sheet distinguishes Photos, full-size originals in Files, and a Cloud Share URL, with on-screen guidance for recent media, original files, and large or older cloud collections.
After automatic retries, Upload Queue identifies each remaining failure by an available thumbnail, photo/video type, original name or type-qualified selection order, available capture time, and reason. Retry only a transfer failure, or choose the item again when iPhone could not prepare it.
Purchase keys, orders, contributions, search, and administrator editors now use a consistent white input surface that is distinct from instructions and read-only cards. The key example is the unmistakably non-production 111-111.

Added the licensed book Image of God by Toru Asai to the Bible reader. After activation with a purchased six-digit key, the book remains available on the device and can be read offline.
Added ordering with quantity entry, editing, cancellation, status and completion indicators, order history, and restoration on the same signed-in device. History is protected by the device session and the email address entered with the order; a separate six-digit email verification step is no longer required.
Reading Improvements
Image of God supports continuous and original-page views, a linked table of contents, full-text search, split panes with Scripture, highlights, notes, bookmarks, and text-to-speech.
Improved the cover and contents layout, Markdown emphasis, page-boundary cleanup, and chapter spacing.
